so I have this roommate who leaves her dog locked up in her room all day, door shut. she used to use a gate and leave the door open but she stopped doing that. he has food and water and room to move, so that makes me believe it wouldn’t be considered animal cruelty, but her dog absolutely hates being in that room. he scratches at the door and cries all day long while she’s gone (and she’s barely home). also, he doesn’t get taken on walks, he just gets let out to use the bathroom, which bothers me. thoughts?
