My cat had surgery about a week ago, and he only came home on Tuesday. When i picked him up from the vets, the vet didn't tell me what kind of stitches he had, or when he can go outside and i forgot to ask at the time as i was really upset about something. He has stitches all along is abdomen, they had to clear an obstruction in his intestines, but they didn't open up his intestines.
I just came in the front door and he bolted outside. Tried to coax him with prawns but he refused to come, and I'm worried he will catch his stitching on something. When should he be allowed to go outside, or am I worrying for nothing?
