So I was planning on getting my girlfriend a chinchilla and the only problem is, where we live, the climate is prone to bounce around a lot (70F one day 90F the next) in the summer, and I was wondering about some ways to keep the chinchilla comfortable, I know that we normally want it to be below 70 degrees in it's cage, or have a place for it to keep cool (I've seen stuff like frozen marble, water bottles, etc) but would it be safe to freeze a water bottle and wrap it in a cloth since they like to chew?
