So recently my family and I went to Disney world for 9 days. Today, we came home, and upon going to my room I see my cat laying on the bed. She instantly starts meowing at me, which is unusual, but i figured she was just saying hi. But when she stood up I noticed something was different. The her stomach was big at the sides and upon touching her and giving a slide nudge it felt like when you tap your stomach after drinking a lot of water, as if there was some liquid as in there. I instantly became concerned as she has had problems in the past where she feels sick and doesn’t go to the bathroom. This time it seems worse though. She’s 11 years old, and I’ve had her since I was 5, when we got her and my other cat as kittens. We’ve already payed a lot before, and we’re considering putting her down if it’s a lot more than just some antibiotic treatment. My grandmother is a vet, and she’s coming over tomorrow to drop off our dog who she was holding for us over vacation, so we’re going to ask her then. If anybody knows what this is and why she won’t do you know what, would appreciate the extra help. (Her stomach is petruding to the side, and she was very skinny above that point and we can see her spine outlined through her black fur, so she’s thin anywhere besides the stomach, and the food we left her still has a bit left, so it meant they ate it.)
