Yesterday morning (Sunday), my family and I packed up and left town for a mini vacation. I thought my turtle would be fine because I have an automatic feeder and his heater was on when I left him. Just now, my mom told me she unplugged everything in our house while I was loading our stuff in our van. Now my baby turtle is in a tank with no heater, no basking light and nothing until we get back Wednesday night. He is about six months old. I'm wanting to drive back the eight hours to plug his heater back on. We live in Canada and the outside temperature is -30 degrees celcius and my turtle is in the basement of our house where it's usually cold. What should I do? How long will he survive in the cold water?
