I usually sleep with my arms above my blankets, and the past couple of days I've woken up and had my cat sleeping close by my side so I start petting him, and after a minute or two he will bite my palm and sometimes latches onto my forearm area. I try to pull away but he latches and I have to bop the top of his head to make him let go, then he goes back to being loving, i dont get it, should i just avoid petting him until i know he is good and awake?
