My dog is randomly coughing and puking a clear discharge on the floor. We did see something that looked like a tag, but he's been coughing like crazy. I don't know what to do and my family told me to put him in his dog house with his bed and lots of water. I am worried because he is old (around 7 years) and is somewhat social with 2 other dogs. I am afraid that he will be in danger and that the other 2 dogs will be in danger as well. As I stated earlier my parents won't let me take him to the vet because they think he probably just ate something, but I dunno its just a concerning situation.
Is there anything I can do to help him stop coughing?
