My dog suddenly wants nothing to do with me

I get that it’s been kind of stressful lately, and I’m sure that’s affecting her, but it’s starting to hurt my feelings. She purposefully sits on the opposite side of the room from me. If I get up and sit by her, she moves. She used to sleep by me every night, but now she’d rather sleep by my husband.

We used to be really close. She was really affectionate and used to be on me all of the time, which I loved. She’s a healthy, two-year-old dog who is fairly active and fed two good meals a day. Sometimes, I even make her boiled chicken and rice for dinner. I know part of the reason is that we’ve had a lot of change lately. We got married, moved, adopted another dog, and then our senior foster dog who she was close to passed away all within about four months.

I’ve tried helping her get through it all, but it’s just sort of snowballed here lately. I’ve started setting aside time where it’s just her and me at night when my husband goes to sleep. We watch tv together for about half an hour and I usually give her a little snack. I’ve also been taking her on little road trips to pet stores, pet friendly places, or just around the block. It seems to help a little bit, but then she just gets really distant again. I’m not sure what to do other than give her the space from me that she wants. It’s just really hurtful. I wish I could ask her what exactly is going on, because this dog is my best friend, and I miss her.

TL;DR: My dog is really distant and doesn’t seem to like me much lately, and I’m not sure what to do to help.
