New pup

Hi all,

We just received a 6 month old puppy into our home. She was at her previous family for the first 6 months along with her mother and brothers. Due circunstances her family couldn't keep her. So they gave all the dogs to better homes.

We snagged the girl pup. My question is it normal for her to cry? First two night she cries alot, but now only when we go to bed she'll cry a bit in her bed. And how do you begin to potty train her? Sometimes she poops on mats and sometimes she doesn't.
