Mum with kids, I have a question for you. At what age did you buy a puppy for your kid? I understand that a toddler cannot take care of a puppy and that this is my responsibility, but I want that the kid grows up with animals, plus I live dogs and I miss my dog - it died a couple of years ago. I am a single mum but I have help from my ex who lives close to us and he will also be responsible for the puppy. We are thinking about a small one, like 2 kg or so. And is it better to get a male or a female dog, considering I have a little boy, or it does not really matter? Thank you!
