Hello, I’m new to the community, bare with me and my grammar lol but i had a few questions if anyone can help me, my girlfriends birthday was today, so this past Saturday evening we went to a shelter because she wanted a kitty, she found a beautiful tortoiseshell long hair calico she wanted, cat is nearly 3 years old, history of the cat: (she started off as a shelter kitten then found a home, the couple had her for nearly 3 years and had a baby just recently and they cat was peeing on the baby clothes, baby’s room floors, so they surrendered her to the shelter.) now we have her, we let her go in the bedroom closest cause we live in a one bedroom apt, we sit her up in the closest food water litter box hide box, she stays hidden all day in a hide box i bought for her, won’t move, stays curled up, first night that Saturday she played meowed, pet, roamed, slept in bed with us next day she was completely different, stayed hidden, until at night, around 10pm to 4 am, she’ll prowl, explore, sleep in bed with us for a bit, pur, love on you, eat some, use the litter box, then once 4-5am we get up for work, she’s changed again back in the closest in her hide box, does this all day until at night, is this normal?? Is she just stressed during the day and at night when lights are out and we in the room in bed and a sleep, she feels better? š©
