My cat is having some kind of urinary issues, and she can’t stop licking at herself. Right now I have put a plastic e-collar on her because it’s the only thing she is rarely able to escape. I tried an inflatable one, which she clawed and punctured and then got her foot stuck in the neck hole trying to get it off. The issue is that in the past, she has used the edge of the plastic collar as a crotch scratcher of sorts, and actually made the whole issue worse; furthermore, she gets these great big scabs on her neck and ears where the cone touches her. Does anyone has recommendations for a better solution? I’d like for her to be more comfortable if possible.
