My family dog and pet rabbit are nearing the end of their lives, they're both over their expected life spans currently and I'm not looking forward to losing them, I adore animals and with only my pet cat left its going to feel lonely so I've been looking into adopting a new pet, my mum wants to adopt a rescue dog but we both love ferrets and have wanted one for a long time.
My cat is super friendly with other animals and my friend has both a ferret and cat so I think that won't be a problem. Are they a lot of work and how so? What are their requirements? Also my sister had a pet ferret once and I remember the odour being unbearable, are there ways to reduce a ferrets odour or not? Thank you!
