A few kitten behaviors I can't seem to figure out. Help would be very much appreciated!

So I have a few questions about my 15 week old kitten.

1. Right now, I'm feeding him a total of two cans (6 oz total) of Fancy Feast Kitten food a day. Is this too much?
2. I've ignored him whenever he cries for food so he doesn't really cry for food anymore. However, as soon as he realizes I'm getting his food and getting it ready, he meows like absolutely crazy. He clearly knows that I'm preparing his food and that he's going to get it in a few seconds but he always cries during this anyway. Why is he doing that and how can I stop it?
3. I don't know if this is just for all cats or kittens, but my kitten wakes up every time I get up to use the bathroom or kitchen. Is this okay for their sleep?
