Cute little story to tell Reddit about! So, an hour ago, I found an old, beaten up, mouse toy for a cat inside of a blanket. I realized that my cat couldn't have put her white mouse toy in a blanket (The blanket was ripped up, as it was a family heirloom from child to child. It would be passed down and fixed for hundreds of years, so it can keep being passed down.) My mom had the excellent idea to ask my grandma (Who used to own the blanket & had a cat that passed many years ago) if she recognized the mouse toy. I sent a picture and my grandma said she didn't recognize it. I'm going to type our conversation here:
(Grandma: G)
G: My Kitty (Kitty was the cat's name because my grandma liked the name Kitty) had some of those mouse toys. And some of them did disappear! So maybe it was my Kitty who stuck it in there... Anything's possible!
Me: That's what I thought!
(Little time passes)
G: It does look very beat up & old.
Me: Can my cat play with it, or do you want it back?
G: Your cat can have it.
Me: It's like a cat heirloom!
G: You're right! From my Kitty years ago to your Kitty now. A gift from Heaven.
Me: Yup. (Heart emoji)
Anyone have a similar experience? I never noticed the toy before this time, and I do believe in the paranormal. What do you guys think? Coincidence or not? I'll always believe that it was a gift from Heaven, though.
