Hey everyone! We're about to try prozac for a persistent over-grooming, and wondering whether anyone else has had any luck with it.
The over-grooming is licking and biting, and poor K'10 (which is her very clever name) has taken off all the hair on her legs and belly, and made some progress on her back. We've done bloodwork and found no allergies (food or environmental), and we've done an exclusion diet with no effect. A steroid shot seems to be mildly effective. So prozac is the next option (we're going to try the ear cream version).
But we'd be really grateful to know if anyone has had luck with other treatments, changes of environment, or anything else for over-grooming.
