Okay, I have two cats, one 3 years old and one 2, and a 2 year old beagle. Both my cats have never had an issue using the litter box but all of a sudden my older cat just stopped using the box and has been defecating and urinating either in the bedroom or underneath the dining table for a few weeks now and I cannot figure out why. All three animals have lived together for atleast a year before this started happening, we haven’t moved in the last few years or moved their litter boxes. I have two large litter boxes, one covered and one uncovered and the room they are in is on a side of the house that has a baby gate blocking the hallway so the dog is unable to enter which allows the cats to have a area to go to the bathroom, eat and relax without being hassled. All this and daily I wake up to one or more piles of feces on the floor and yellow spots on the floor, what could I do? It’s getting to the point where I can’t overcome the smell/damage. Also I scoop the boxes daily and completely switch out the old litter for new every weekend. Thanks
