Our one cat simply has super dirty ears. All the time, it comes up fast, and it's kind of hard to clean because of all the nooks and crannies, plus her always tilting her head and ears when I go in there with an ear wipe. Ear wipes are not very effective, I've heard Q-tips are bad...but it's almost impossible to get this gunk out of her little ears.
To caveat, it's fast-buildup but whenever she gets her vet checkups, they clean them and she never has mites, so I don't think it's an infestation of mites in her ear. She doesn't scratch at them a lot...in fact, she barely cleans them herself so I partly wonder if this is why there is such a buildup.
Just not sure what I can do to make it easier/super clean for her.
