I am a counselor. There is a consumer that is in an inpatient facility. I was led to believe that there would be assistance in keeping the animal fostered until the discharge. That turned out to be untrue and led to a large vet and boarding bill. Does anyone know of a foundation or charity that help with cost for housing emotional support animals until the owner is out of treatment? Or people who would like to contribute?
I posted in assistance awhile ago but did not get any leads that helped.
