My wife and I are worried it hurts her when she gets mounted. We keep a sharp eye on her to prevent it, but he sneaks it in so quick sometimes we can't always catch it.
She just started bleeding about a week ago, so she is maturing. But her little cooter looks swollen and when we take her poddy she dips her coot into the snow and leaves it there, not peeing, just cooling herself off down there.
So is there a harm or danger to her health? Or is it just natural, benign dog behavior?
Puppy is a golden lab, and our boy dog is a 4 year old pit/hound mix who must have been the runt because he is maybe 30 pounds soaking wet.
