Both dog and cat are up to date on all flea meds, but ex room mate refused to treat her dog so therefore there are now fleas in the apartment. Despite preventatives, dog and cat still have some fleas. We've tried sprays and 'bombs' but nothing worked. We're moving in a month, and I'm looking for a sure-proof way to ensure that we do NOT bring any fleas to our new apartment. We are planning to throw out ALL of our current furniture (except our mattress which has a cover), but I'm wondering if there's anything else I can do. Anything soft that we're bringing I'm going to wash before we pack it or once we get to the new place.
If it's relevant, dog is on Nexguard and cat is on Advantage II.
