So I moved house back to my dads (house I owned with an ex) and my dad does not want a cat in the home and my ex has moved to a different country and can't take him anytime soon, so I found a family to give him too.
I just got a message from them saying he is struggling to settle in, crying all the time and isn't eating properly.
I've suggested to keep him confined to a room and to let me get used to that smaller area first, sit with him and spend some time with him in there.
I've told them I'd take him back if they definitely don't want to continue caring for him, but I can't keep him in my dads house for long.
I urgently need some advice.
