Last week my apartment complex called me and told me I had two choices, one get evicted or two get rid of my one year old pit. She’s the most loving dog ever but gets very anxious when I leave for work. I was told she barks the entire time, I am a bartender and work hours such as (6pm-4am) I understand my neighbors behalf. They told the apartment management that I was “neglecting” her because she would bark so much. Which I would never do, she’s doesn’t get along with other dogs too well so I could never take her to a day care. I was suggested getting a bark collar.. but I sat and thought what kind of life would it be to sit in a cage with a bark collar the 4/5 days I work. That would be so selfish of me, she’s a dog she deserves to run and bark. As attached to her as I am I feel like she deserves a home she can run and play whenever she wants.. I feel so guilty. I cry, a lot about the situation. Anyone else have to go through something similar?
