I was just petting my cat, (LK is his name) and he seems to have a knot on the base of his tail? He didn't seem to mind when I looked at it and it has some sort of scab on it. He has no changes in behavior, he is a fully grown adult cat. I have two other cats that are younger and they all go outside but usually come in at night.
I'm thinking the worst as in a snake bite or something but it could be a cyst or something????
I don't know what this is but I don't want him to be in any pain or discomfort, but I work at a veterinarian clinic so I'll take him if it gets any worse and keep him inside and monitor until then...
Any ideas of what this is or if you've had any personal experience with this would help tremendously! Thank you!!
