My dad has had to deal with three violent encounters with pit bulls in under a year the most recent one today hurt our dog kind of seriously. after the first attack my dad carries around animal pepper spray ever since the first pit bull went for his throat and he has had trauma during the attacks he has been to surprised to use it.Any good methods for protecting against or disengaging violent medium/large dogs that isn’t violent/cruel or methods to at least keep your dog out of the conflict or minimize harm to yourself and your pet?
