so iv e wanted to get a pet for a few years, i wanted to make sure i really wanted one so i didn't buy one and not take care of them but I've been thinking about it for so long that I'm not sure what pet to get. I'm a recluse, I stay inside almost all the time except for when i go biking. I'm hoping to move to Canada soon so preferably an animal that is ok with cold and i would prefer a social pet, one that would keep me company while i code. at first i wanted a dog, but I'm not sure I'm up for that commitment (big jump from taking care of fish when i was a kid). I've been thinking of maybe a lizard but they don't like the cold. So if you have any advice for a pet that i could consider then i would love to know.
