With my current living situation I have a very anti mess and pet landlord, who's wife is even stricter. However, I have managed to convince to them to allow me aquarium life, nothing fancy just a couple of cute Goldfish and one Axolotl (yes, they are in different aquariums aka not together.)
But I recently questioned about having a new pet, he's willing to allow it since I keep the tank's looking nice, and my aunt put in a good word since I live with her for the time being (long story.) and it help's my anxiety.
He's made it clear that the animals must be indoors as to not ruin the grass and in a enclosure, tank or pen of some sort that stop's them from running around and spreading their mess, and small. But I'm not allowed Dogs or Cats :(.
I love my goldfish and axolotl so much, and get so much joy from watching them swim around, and I wouldn't trade them to anyone, but I really want something different that isn't aquarium that I can psychically hold, and in case anyone's wondering I do have the money and time to care for another pet and there's always someone home at our house etc.
Any ideas on what pet I should consider that meets his rule's?.
Thanks!!.
Edit: My family said no to a mouse but I'm still looking at them, they are so cute, any advice on how to convince non mouse loving family members who are scared of them?.
