Hi all, I recently found a dog at the service shop I work at and he has definitely been a stray for awhile. He was all matted and very dirty. He’s a Pyrenees btw. Anyway I took him to the vet and they said he had heartworm and would need to be treated. He’s only about a year and a half so they give him a good chance but say it will cost upwards of 1300. They said I can try care credit but I’m not sure what that is and if it is a good idea or not. Has anyone had experience with it. Either way he is going to get treated but being able to make payments would help a lot and the vet doesn’t allow it due to policy. Please help with any advice or experiences. Thank you so much.
