I have a 7 month old Orange tabby male who has been in an open shelter where he played with multiple cats since 3 months old. He is very open to being friends with other cats due to his age and the environment he has been in.
There are two other cats that are 13 years old and have lived in one house their entire life since kitten age. Soon my tabby will have to move in with them.
I attempted an intro a few weeks ago and it went horrible, not the worst outcome but not great. My cat was open to being friendly but the other elder cats were scared to death and were getting aggressive so then my cat started freaking out and getting very scared.
If anyone has been able to have two cats or similar co-habit a house please let me know how you did it, how much time it took, etc. thank you!
