Sorry if this isnt allowed. I'm getting older and slowly preparing to move out. Ive never had pets but I love animals, and always play with my friend's cats, dogs and rabbits despite a mild allergy (which I'm willing to deal with or remedy somehow).
Is it possible to have a home that has a cat, a dog and a rabbit? I'm currently a single Male, mid 20s and I am not really looking for a relationship. My work schedule is just a regular office job with occasional part time work to keep me busy. Is it a bad idea to get so many pets? I'm hoping to get a house with a few rooms, and dedicate the room to all these animals to play with and have their cages in. I'd love the situation of being able to let them out and roam the house.
Am I dreaming too big? Is it impossible to make this a reality? What should I watch for when adopting these animals potentially? Is it not worth it? Are vet costs going to be too much? Is it possible to train all 3 of them to walk outside on leashes, or let them roam free in a fully enclosed backyard? Are there chances of them killing eachother? This is 100% a serious question but what if they breed together?!!? What about them pooping? Is there chances the other animals would eat one animal's poop?
Sorry for the naive questions. I've always wanted a pet to care for a love and my heart is full of emotion just thinking about this, but I know I need to be realistic at the same time. Thanks!
