Kitten with tapeworms won't eat

Our normally rambunctious kitten (4 months) had been pawing at her food for 2 days instead of eating it, but otherwise mostly normal - playful and cuddly.

I was starting to worry, and last night confirmed my suspicion as I watched her poop out a long tapeworm. Went to the vet to get her a dewormer (despite having her dewormed when vaccinated, they said it covers all worms except tapeworms?), she ate it last night and is due the next one in 2 weeks.

My concern is that from last night to this afternoon, she has still barely eaten. She does a whimper when we offer her food :(

She’s had a bit of diarrhea and more tapeworms come out, but I’m worried? Doesn’t she need to eat in order to poop out the rest of the now dead worms?

She’s also listless, no energy as a result. We’ve been leaving taps dripping as that’s the only water she’ll go after.

Bringing her to the vet again tonight for peace of mind but would really appreciate any advice or insight. My heart is broken!
