To those of you who went to university far from home or just moved away from your childhood pet, how do you deal? My dog died last summer and my cat hasn't been the same since then. She now spends all her time with me and I'm just so scared to move away and leave her. She's a cat, she won't understand why. My parents don't really care about her, they'll just keep her alive. But for 11 years she's been my best friend and the idea of only seeing her on weekends (when I could come home) is just depressing. How do I go on with life knowing she's lonely and confused?
