I live in the uk, and my mum and I have a outside living moggy that I would like to insure. We found him on the streets and he just kinda moved in. We reckon he’s over 10 years old now. I mentioned to my mum, if something were to happen, we couldn’t afford treatment. She mentioned that for example if he broke his leg or went blind, his life wouldn’t be worth living and that he would be put down rather than given treatment as she thinks that would be stressful for him.
I don’t agree, I think if he did go blind or lose a limb, he would be okay after treatment, he would just be an indoor cat, he doesn’t leave the house often anyway.
I’ve seen some quotes that are about £10 a month, and she said it adds up and that it would be £240 over two years and that they probably wouldn’t cover him if something went wrong.
What do you guys think?
