My cat discovered the mirror when she was a kitten the adorable way that most kittens do. It took her maybe a couple hours to figure out that she was looking at a reflection of herself and it was never a problem. She's 11 now and we've recently moved into a beautiful new house with wall-to-wall mirrored closets. We haven't had floor-length mirrors since she was a kitten. She recently re-discovered her reflection and growls and hisses at it constantly and it seems to get worse at night. I thought she would figure it out again, but it's been almost a full week. She seems so upset and has such anxiety about it and I'm worried she'll start marking. How can I help my kitty become friends with the one in the mirror?
