So I just adopted a dog yesterday. She’s a 2 year old Lab mix.(I think she’s has border collie in her) This is my first dog and she’s super sweet but I’m worried about how inactive she is. She’s extremely timid and has zero interest in toys or her crate. Shes just been sleeping in random areas of the house. I’m fully aware of the training that I will have to do with her. I’m just surprised that a mix of the two most active breeds is so lethargic. She has been vaccinated and tested for heart worms and all the necessities that go with an adoption and I am taking her for her first wellness checkup on Friday. I have to leave her all day to go to work on Wednesday and having major first time owner anxiety. Any advice would be amazing.
