Me and my husband got our first puppy together around 2 months ago. He’s super smart but like all dachshunds, he’s a hardhead. He’s also spiteful, it seems like. I’m looking for advice because, he’s terrible when it comes to messing in the house or chewing up things he’s not supposed to. He will get his butt busted left and right for chewing up things he’s not supposed to or messing in the house, and it’s like it doesn’t phase him. And it’s not even that we aren’t taking him out, it’s literally - we would take him out, he would get in trouble and after coming inside 10 mins ago, he will go poop somewhere in the house.
My husband has about had it with him since he’s chewed up his pair of Oakley’s and wants to get rid of him.
I’m just trying to figure out how to break some of these habits. He has countless amounts of toys to play with and to chew on, but he’d rather go for the TV remote.
