She HATES the thing, and we’ve had to bring her to the vet a few times in the last month (finally updating shots, seeing if there’s anyway to help her sinus problems) and every time we have to load her up she scratches me and my husband up quite a bit.
We’ve tried leaving the crate out for her to use and get used to for the last couple months and she avoided it completely. We’ve tried those soothing wipes the vet gave us, giving her pills they prescribed her (can’t think of the name off the top of head) and we’ve tried things like wrapping her in a towel from behind. We keep calm and don’t yell and we start the process early so we can take breaks and stuff to try and avoid too much stress...
She’s not necessarily a skiddish cat, but she is a rescue and we aren’t sure about how her precious owners treated her. My husband has had her for about 4 years, and we all moved in last year. We do have to bring her back so that they can finish collecting samples and do a blood test so any ideas for us to practice until it’s time for us to bring her back would so be appreciated!
