So I've got a grey tabby, she's almost 7 years old and doing really well. She used to live in a house with another, older cat, and two small dogs. I moved home and decided to take her with me, so she now lives in a flat with myself and my gf.
Since moving from a home with other animals into one with none, she has become a lot more vocal, and more affectionate. She's also been eating more, which I'm fine with because I don't believe she used to eat enough.
However, she's been sick in the night 2 times in the past 3 weeks. Once in our bedroom, and once in the hallway. And during the same time period she was sick while we were out in the daytime.
The sick has the colour and texture of diarrhoea, but it doesn't smell at all. Her poops are still firm and a healthy colour. She has recently been wormed and flea treated even though she doesn't go outside.
She has had contact with a neighbor's dog recently, and by contact I mean she was in the same flat but not the same room.
My gf thinks she's doing it for attention, like her old cat used to do, but she gets all the attention we can give her. I go out of my way to find and bother her if I feel like fussing her!
Im just struggling to understand why she might be ill, where its come from, or if she's not ill, what her behaviour means.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
EDIT: she moved in with us in early September '18, so this is a new development.
