Hey pets/ people of Reddit! Idk where to ask this so I thought maybe this would be an appropriate place!! I’m in the market for getting me myself a personal pet! I would go with your typical cat or dog but our current house cat does not do good at all with dogs and so I imagine a new cat would be hell as well. My only issue is that I work a full time job so I’m gone from anywhere to 7-6 every Monday through Friday and I work 8 hours every other Saturday. So my biggest concern would getting something that doesn’t have separation anxiety’s or anything I also want something that affectionate. I’ve thought about a bird but didn’t realize how much a lot bigger birds cost. I’d get a small one but my cousins have one and I just don’t see them being affectionate at all. I’ve also thought about getting a rat or two but mom threw that one out the window. I would prefer a caged animal so my cat can’t really mess with it or anything. Thanks in advanced for any suggestions and advice!!
