When I was younger, our dog died in the care of a family friend while we were away. I have a cat now that I love more than I love my own life, but I become a crazy person when it comes to leaving her. I have this fear that it'll be the last time I ever see her. It's an irrational fear and I know it, but man.... at least if something happens to her in my care, it's my own fault.
