My cat, Zara, has been nursing 7 week old kittens (3 to be specific). During this time, I've noticed that a cat (She's literally 11 months) from Zara's previous litter has been following her around and trying to nurse. When Zara's outside, she is around and itching to get some tiddy milk. When Zara's inside, I don't allow the cat, Tilda, to enter.
I have noticed however that Tilda is friendly with the kittens, but her sister, Swinton (YES, THEY'RE NAMED AFTER THE BRITISH ACTRESS. They were born during a re-watch of Dr. Strange and guess who the screen was paused on?) is not. Swinton who was friendly with Tilda 2 months ago, hisses at her the same way she does at the kittens.
All of my other cats, with the exception of Zara, obviously, hiss at Tilda now. And I'm wondering what the hell is going on with her. She's almost a grown woman... and she's fiending after tiddy milk!
Does anyone have any advice as to why this is? Thanks for reading.
