Over summer my wife brought home a puppy, and it's been acting well, like a puppy. Chewing everything she can find, eating cords, etc. I didn't want to get a crate to put her in when me and the wife went out because I felt bad. But she started moving light furniture around the house somehow. Pushing dining room chairs out to jump on to get into the table, moved my ottoman to the TV stand and chewed up some remotes etc.
So we got her a crate. She has bent and broke some metal bars, and somehow unhooked the back of the crate and folded it in managing to get out. We even got a shock collar for her. (We don't use the shock setting, just the beep and vibration) for when she misbehaves and won't listen when we are home. She just will not stop getting into stuff no matter how hard we try and im not sure what to do.
Any advice will help. On getting her more behaved and keeping her in the crate.
Edit: she is a pitbull dauxhaund mix if it matters. Half a year old or so.
