my two year old cat got out of the house about a week and a half ago and stayed gone for an entire day. i got her off of craigslist and i was told she was fixed, but after about two weeks of having her, my brand new kitty was yowling and pacing with her back paws, and the internet told me this was a heat. this was confirmed with a quick text to the old owner who was quick to correct such a big mistake they made when posting their listing. sugar, my cat, is intact not fixed. back to the story, sugar showed up at around 7:30pm, and i noticed her no no spot was pretty swollen and pink, and this obviously caused pretty quick alarm. sugar has been acting like she’s been in a constant type of heat since this. she hasn’t been treading her back paws like she usually does, she’s just been overly affectionate and not to mention, needier than a five child family on christmas. her nipples are also a little bigger than before, but not swollen. they’re still pink too, not dark. and the internet said nipple changes usually take place 3 weeks along & they turn brown. so basically, has your cat ever gotten pregnant without you knowing and what were some of the behaviors you noticed? if you knew how far along your cat was at the time, that would be greatly appreciated w symptoms you’ve noticed!! thank u, sorry i’m so bad at explaining things.
