My cat ( 6 y/o) has always had a weak stomach, he’ll usually throw up 1-2 a week. I blame my mom for the frequency because she keeps giving him cheese, seasoned chicken, tuna, basically whatever he begs for, and won’t stop no matter how much I ask her to because “he likes it.”
Tonight, I heard him throwing up and found the usual thing, unchewed food. I finish cleaning it up and head back to bed when not even five minutes later he does it again, a smaller amount this time. Two minutes afterward he retches again, but just bile. Two more times in a ten minute time frame, one with a small amount of bile and nothing at all.
I’ve been begging my parents to take him to the vet for a long time, basically since he started throwing up, but they refuse because they think the vet will cost 1000 dollars just to say he’s fine. But five times in under half an hour is a sign that something’s seriously wrong, right?
