Like the title says, my cat keeps going 'mrr' or 'mrrp' or occasionally meowing super loud in the hallways. She'll do this for hours on end and it only started a few days ago, so it hasnt been a thing shes always done. She six months old and she has worms right now (though we took her to the vet and they gave her shots for it this morning, so hopefully not for long!).
I was thinking maybe shes in heat, but the vet said she was a bit too early for that and that it would sound more like meowing than just soft 'mrrp's. It makes me super afraid that shes making these noises because shes in pain, possibly because of those worms, but Im not sure? It doesnt sound like shes in pain.
Then I was thinking that maybe she wanted something? Like attention or food or water but everytime shes doing this her food bowl and water bowl is full and shes not trying to get my attention, usually just walking around the house doing it. I followed her around once because I was super curious but she didnt do anything interesting, just eventually laid down.
Maybe shes just a weird cat? I dont know! Any advice?
TLDR: My cat paces around the house being super vocal for no apparent reason.
