Cat keeps having bad nosebleeds...was rescued from a hoarding situation and told it's a really bad case of uri....could it be more serious?

I adopted my cat a couple months ago when he came from a hoarding situation with his 8 siblings...they all had bad uri and were treated... some got better some are still sick (it's been three months). When i brought him home that night he had a terrible nosebleed and went back to the shelter... he was treated and when i got him back a month later he seemed sooo much better.
They said the nosebleed might have been from the stress of the move and leaving his siblings.

I've had him a month and he was doing amazing. I was trying to get him off eyedrops because he looked great so i started doing it every other day... then a week ago he had another bad nose bleed. I started doing it everyday again and he one last night (not that bad though in comparison).

I got a humidifier to help him because I can tell he's a little stuffed up still... but he's playing, eating, using the litter, and drinking. He's a little less hyper but is still pretty playful.

I fear its not just any upper respiratory. Does anyone else have experience with this? He has a vet appointment for Monday.
