Maia is 3.5 months old and the vet confirmed 3 days ago that she can't hear. We started teaching her sign as soon as we realized that something was wrong. She knows Maia, eat, no, and stop. She's very skittish and afraid of everything - except the vacuum. Getting her to pay attention for longer than 3 seconds is hard and no way will we force her to cooperate due to her terror. How can we help her understand her world?
