It’s not as if we didn’t expect this but I feel so bad for our cat Kat (fake names).
We have 2 cats whom are both 18, Kate and Otto. And Xylophone the dog, a cockapoo, is just 8 weeks old.
Otto is shy by temperament but is pretty chill being in another room and going about their day.
Kat hasn’t been inside the house since Xylophone arrived this morning (it’s now 20:00).
I know it was really poor timing to get a dog, and our cats deserved their final years in peace. But we had a parent die and it seemed just the right way to cheers us back up again.
Need tips really. More immediate tips to get Kat back inside but also tips in general if the relationship does improve.
