So three weeks ago my family bought two red-eared sliders from the pet shop. They were our first pet, besides fish. We know nothing about keeping turtles and they were sort of an impulse buy. Recently I realised that one had been very inactive and will stay on a rock with its head drooping down. I've also started to notice that there are white spots on both turtles, especially the inactive one. Both of them are starting to get even more inactive now. There's definitely something up with them but my parents absolutely refuse to take the to the vet or anything. If there's any at-home remedies or store bought medicine that we can use to treat them, please suggest.
