Cat Advice - Puking

Hello all,

I have cat that's been puking more frequently lately. Before I get into anything, I have been in contact with a vet in the past and will be making an appointment on Monday (since it's Saturday now).

I've had him for about 4 years now and he puked occasionally (I'm talking like once every few months) and it was undigested food. Now he pukes like every day for a week and then he's fine for about 2 months. Over the last few months I have been taking him into the vet to figure this out and there hasn't been much progress. We've tried moving meals from 2 to 3 times per day in smaller portions, switching from chicken to a limited ingredient venison diet, and an anti-acid in case he produces too much acid.

The last time I talked to the vet, they said the next thing they would probably do is some sort of biopsy to see if he has a IBS. Personally I don't want to have to put him through medical procedures if I don't have to as that will be stressful for him. Although if that leads to a solution, I will 100% do it.

He is otherwise active, his fur is shiny, and he appears to be in good health with the exception of this regurgitation/puking problem.

So does anyone have any other things they can think of that might be causing this? I'd like to have some other ideas when I go to the vet. Thanks!
